And I absolutely love your way of explaining. I've laughed out load at least three times. xD (Hope I didn't freak my neighbours out... but then again, it's not like they never bother me with their noises... ¬.¬)
The final image looks great, which I didn't think it would be when I saw the start. And that's just the kind of things you need to see when you're a beginner so you don't give up at the stage where it still looks like a mess.
I'm all new to watercolor - just bought some today! - so I really liked all the little bits off information and tips&tricks that you managed to fit into this tutorial.
And maybe most importantly.. I hope that now I won't despair at the possibly very messy stages! ^^
it was a great talented wonderful tutorial!!! u are really professional!!
if u pardon me may i ask about skin.
my big problem is always coloring skin.
u are really great at it!
i wished there was a tutorial just about coloring skin, what are colors? first which one? next which one?
may i dare to ask u, if u kindly help me about it?

Thanks for the Tutorial ^_^
But I really, really recommend going for good single-pigment paints right away. There's no need for so many tubes at first, right? Because I think a big deal about watercolor painting is learning how the pigments behave and if you don't know what you're painting with a lot of effort goes to waste. There's a really good site about all watercolor materials here [link] . I find it priceless. And at least my own painting started to improve right away when I started to be more conscious of the pigments.
Anyway, cheers!
The photos are great, and the method is explained in just enough detail. Not to mention you managed to infuse your sense of humor into what could have been extremely boring.
I want to try this! Perhaps I'll break out the watercolors one of these days
